PCE Automation was delighted to welcome the Lord-Lieutenant of Suffolk to its headquarters in Beccles on Friday 2nd August for the formal presentation of the King’s Award for Enterprise.
The event followed last year’s announcement that PCE Automation had been awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of its achievement in Innovation.
INNOVATION IN ENTERPRISE

This prestigious award is given to UK businesses that deliver outstanding achievement.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
PCE received the award in recognition of the company’s innovative approach to a key project within the Ocular sector.
Working closely with the customer to understand their needs, PCE was able to develop an innovative, bespoke solution that enabled the customer to significantly reduce manufacturing time and deliver shorter lead times for its customers.
The solution improved efficiency and unlocked both scalability and flexibility within the customer’s manufacturing process and resulted in an estimated increase in productivity of 360%.

James Cook, Chief Executive Officer at PCE said, “It is an honour to be presented with the King’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category. We are extremely proud of this achievement, which is a true reflection of our values and the way we work.
“Innovation is a huge part of what we do at PCE, and we could not have achieved this without the hard work and dedication of our people”.
In addition to the Lord-Lieutenant, the formal ceremony was also attended by several high-profile guests. Following the presentation, the celebrations continued with the annual PCE Summer Party, a chance for PCE staff and their families to get together and celebrate this fantastic achievement.
